my blog

This is not my first time blogging , but it is always something new, new topics or new people that read it or comment on it. I think it will be fun this time too. I always like opening new blogs, playing with design and so on. Reading what other people wrote is always interesting.

  1. Dear Dragana,
Nice to visit your blog and read even in the Cyrillic ( familiar letters!)Blogging is becoming increasingly popular as a language learning tool. A blog seems a frequently updated website that often resembles an online journal. Earlier I tried websites but it is very time taking. I became aware it's so easy to create and update a blog - it requires only basic access to the Internet, and a minimum of technical know-how. It's almost as easy as sending an email. The problem with me that I am not sure I always save the changes on the template, etc and my blog looks differently for me and my visitors.
I know that some people are very active in blogging. Is there any virtual community or how else they advertise their blogs?

  4. Hi Dragana,

It's good to see your blog. I hope you would decorate it with your valuable reflections regarding the webskills course. I agree with Olena that technology has made a great difference in the lives of both teachers and students. Technophobic teachers find no way but to use and refer to technology in their workplaces. I can't recall where I read this statement that "A person who does not go online for an hour in day, is virtually dead." Talking of blogs, they surely keep you connected with your readers. Through this you improve in many ways as a teacher. There is interaction, sharing, collaboration and thinking involved in blog writing. Being teachers, we need a lot of such things for professional development. I would like to read your comments about that.
